"Looking back after buying my little house in rural Bulgaria, I never thought that I could possibly afford to do it, like a lot of people back in the uk. With hardly any disposable income I was able to acquire ( with a small bank loan.) a house with land and a vineyard for as little as 5000 Euro. I could not pass this opportunity. I realised there was also a chance for other people to buy and invest abroad without shelling out too much money. I have been back to my house in Bulgaria on numerous occasions as flights are so low in price, as little as £72 return. While there I have found good quality local builders to help me with work around the house at very reasonable prices. From my experience I know this project can work for others who want to invest in this beautiful and up and coming country. Investment is the word, because from 2007 Bulgaria entered the E.U. from then on the property prices have started to rise rapidly, especially from 2009.
